Google Reveal Big Brother Statistics

Google have revealed their full statistics for Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother searches. The Web giant revealed that Big Brother was the top trending T.V show of 2013 and that it was the 4th most searched T.V Programme of the year.


Further exploring revealed that a higher percentage of people searched for Big Brother in Northern Ireland than in Wales ,Scotland or England. The statistics also revealed that searches for channel 5 were up 200%. In Northern Ireland the majority of searches came from Belfast and Crumlin. In Wales Llangollen and Holt topped the searches, with Cumbernauld and Wythenshawe topping searches in Scotland and England respectively.





'Celebrity Big Brother' UK was the most searched edition of Big Brother worldwide with Big Brother UK ranking 5th, behind editions such as Brazil and Africa. Lauren Harries was a breakout search with 'Lauren Big Brother' trending and a rise in the term 'Big Brother Contestants' was recorded.
