Ex CBB Housemate talks Reasons for Split

In an interview with E!, Stodden has spoken out about the reasons behind the split.              

When asked why their relationship failed, the 19-year-old answered: "My age, obviously."
Stodden admitted that her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother marked a change in their relationship, which was the first time she had been away from her husband for more than 24 hours.

"I was missing him, but not intimately," she said.
"I couldn't neglect my desires and wanting to embrace my independence and my freedom''
Stodden also admitted to feeling a lot of pressure after Hutchinson lost many friends and family due to their marriage. She said: "I became his world. I just felt like there was a lot of weight on my shoulders."

On making a fresh start, the reality star added: "I am happy and I am excited. I feel like a little girl again, just being able to start over. At 16, I got my marriage license instead of my driver's license. Come on."

In a statement confirming their separation after two and half years of marriage, the pair said that they would "continue being the best of friends for life".
